Fonteluna Beach

Baia Infreschi

The coastline at 7km distance  is a mixture of  long wonderful beaches and coves. From May 31  to September 20  our guests have access to a private beach with sun umbrellas and deckchairs. It is also possible to rent canoes, pedalos and outboard motor boats.

Between Palinuro and Marina di Camerota a series of large gravel beaches opens to the sight, a zone with numerous caves of high naturalistic value, perfectly suitable for diving excursions.

The most famous of these is “l’Arco Naturale” situated on the mouth of the river Mingardo; you can reach it either by car, following the coast road directed for Marina di Camerota, or by boat, circumnavigating the promontory. Along the latter tract you can find ravines caused by the sea: under the ruins of the Molpa castle there is “grotta delle Ossa”, the Bone Grotto, a beautiful cave full of stalagmites and stalactites, which had once served as a secure refuge to its pre-historical visitors, as proved by many human and animal bones found here.
